Abstract

Nerve pain is a chronic, progressive djsease. Althougt the disease is not life-threatening, it persists, causung discomfort to patients, severely addecting individuals' daily activities, reducing labor productivity, and reducing quality of life. In the world as well as in VietNam. In 2015, th Global Burden of Disease Study published a 10- year study in 188 countries that showed that 43% of patients with back pain present with sciatica. The study was conducted in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the method of nutrition combined with electro-acupuncture and infrared light on patients with sciatica. Evidence on fat research, before- after comparison and with a control group gave the results after treatment. VAS score was significantly reduced, lumbar spine mobility was improved, the angle of the Lassegue maneuver increased by 18.6 ± 7.12 (defrees), the ODI reduction performance decreased by


19.24 ± 5.81 (points). The method of birth control combined with electro-acupuncture and infrared light therapy has a better therapeutic effect than the method of electro-acupuncture combined withh infrared light.
