Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of knee osteoarthritis treatment by catgut implantation combined with Tam Ty Thang remedy.
Research methods: Clinical intervention, comparison before and after treatment, with control, on 60 patients.
Results: Pain level according to VAS, average flexion range of knee joint in the study group improved faster than in the control group, the average heel-butt index index of the study group was from 24.2 ± 7.1 (cm) down to
9.4 ± 4.2 (cm) decreased more than the control group from 26.0 ± 9.0 (cm) to 16.0 ± 9.4 (cm).
