Quality of life of patients with low back pain due To degenerrative lumbar spine disease and some related factors at Tue Tinh hospital in 2020

Abstract
Objectives: To describe clinical and subclinical characteristics, analyze quality of life and some related factors in patients with low back pain caused by degenerative lumbar spine at Tue Tinh Hospital in 2020.
Method: Cross – sectional descriptive studies, with a sample size of 360 patients with low back pain caused by degenerative lumbar spine using the SF36 questionnaire. Research period is from January to October 2020.
Results: Male 124 (34,4%); female 236 (65,5%). With 67,2% patients very painful and very uncomfortable. Patients with good physical health composite score accounted for 17,5%; 81,4% on average; poor 1,1%. Average score: 65,3 ± 13,6. Patients with mental health composite score achieved good 63,1%; average 36,7%; poor 0,3%. Average score: 76,2 ± 7,8. Patients with a quality of life score achived good 32,8%; average 66,9%; poor 10,3%. Average score: 70,8 ± 10. Male patients can have a higher quality of life 6,46 times higher than female patients. Patients with intellectual and light labor can have higher quality of life than those who do heavy labor 4,75; the group patients with the duration of disease < years may have a higher quality of life than the group of patients with the duration of disease > 5 years 11,49 times; patients with normal BMI may have quality of life 19,04 times higher than obesity and malnutrition group, the difference is statistically significant with p < 0,05.
