Abstract

Objectives: Describe the reality of traditional medicine examination and treatment at commune health stations in Thai Binh Province in 2019

Evaluate the effectiveness of medical examination and treatment with traditional medicine at Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital by 2020.

Results: The survey of 286 commune health centers in Thai Binh province showed that staff at this level were still limited in terms of professional qualifications and lacking in both quantity and quality. Professional qualifications of the surveyed subjects: High school: 54.45%; College 12.17%; University: 27.72%; graduate: 5.64%. Traditional medicine resources are unevenly distributed at provincial level: 28.48%, district 20.70% and commune: 50.81%. Traditional fields of traditional medicine workers are mainly medical examination and treatment: 95.60%.

In the whole province, the actual situation of medical examination and treatment with traditional medicine at commune health stations in Thai Binh province. In the whole year of 2019, reaching 97.55%. Scientific research projects are limited in number and scope of application. Medical examination and treatment activities The Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital is growing day by day, the Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital is the first specialized hospital in the province. However, Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital still fails to meet the Government's strategic goals set out on the quality of medical examination and treatment, as well as the medical examination and treatment needs of officials and people in the province.

Recommendations: The author offers a number of solutions: strengthening the training of cadres, in particular training of highly specialized and specialized traditional medicine practitioners. Appropriate distribution of human resources between provincial, district and commune levels. To increase investment in equipment and infrastructure, deploy and expand the model of medical examination and treatment with traditional medicine at commune health stations in Thai Binh province.
