Abstract

This study is done to build a database on morphological characteristics of Sam cau la lon species (Curculigo capitulata) based on the method of comparison, comparison with taxonomic key and phytoplankton. In addition, the chemical composition of Sam cau la lon rhizome is also compared with Sam cau (Curculigo orchioides) - which is commonly used in Vietnam and is specified in the Vietnamese Pharmacopoeia V. Results It was obtained to provide a database on morphological characteristics and chemical composition of Sam cau la lon species (Curculigo capitulata), thereby helping to look up and distinguish Sam cau la lon species from other species in the genus Curculigo.
