Survey of bleeding incidence in patients with atrial fibrillation receiving anticoagulant treatment at Bach Mai hospital
Main Article Content
Abstract
Objectives: To investigate bleeding events in patients with atrial fibrillation treated with anticoagulants at the Department of Examination and Treatment on Demand - Bach Mai Hospital.
Subjects and methods: The study was designed according to the descriptive method of research on 171 patients with atrial fibrillation who came for examination and treatment at the Medical Examination Department as requested by Bach Mai Hospital during the period from 8/2019 - 8/2020.
Results: Patients with atrial fibrillation taking anticoagulants had mild bleeding signs (87%), with no difference in the group of drugs used. Subjects with artificial valve disease, embolism increases the risk of bleeding.
