Evaluating the anti-peptic ulcer effects of An Da capsules in experiments
Main Article Content
Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the anti-peptic ulcer effects of An Da capsules in experiments.
Subjects and methods: Study on the anti-peptic ulcer effects of An Da capsules on a cysteamine-induced peptic ulcer model in Wistar rats.
Results: An Da capsules at a dose of 264 mg/kg/day significantly reduced the ulcer index and inhibited ulcers of 59.26% compared to that of the model batch (p<0.05). The ulcer index in the batch using An Da capsules at a dose of 528 mg/kg/day did not have a statistically significant difference compared to that of the model batch (p > 0.05).
Conclusions: An Da capsules at a dose of 264 mg/kg/day anti-peptic ulcer effects in experiments, while the dose of 528 mg/kg/day did not show any effects at all.
