Evaluation of the results of treatment of sciatica caused by lumbar spondylosis of the remedy Thai Binh HV combined with electroacupuncture

Abstract
Objectives: Evaluate the effectiveness Thai binh HV remedy combined with electroacupuncture in treating lumbar spondylosis-induced sciatica.
Subjects and methods: A controlled-prospective open clinical intervention study comparing before and after treatment. Study group: 30 patients were treated by electroacupuncture combined with Thai binh HV remedy. Control group: 30 patients were treated by electroacupuncture combined with Dochoattang ky sinh remedy.
Results: After 21 days of treatment, the patients in the study group had good treatment results, accounting for 76.67%, Fair: 20.00%, Moderate: 3.33%, and no patients responded poorly. This result tended to be better than that of the control group.
Conclusions: Thai binh HV remedy combined with electroacupuncture is effective in the treatment of lumbar spondylosis-induced sciatica.
