Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the effects and side effects of electro- acupuncture, acupressure massage and magnetotherapy in the treatment of Lumbar hip syndrome caused by lumbar degenerative disease           

Subjects and methods: Open clinical intervention, comparison before - after treatment, comparison between 2 clinical types according to traditional medicine. Research on 60 patients aged 30 years and older with a confirmed diagnosis of lumbar hip syndrome due to lumbar degenerative disease, divided into 2 clinical types according to traditional medicine when they came for examination and outpatient treatment at Spine treatment consulting unit - National Hospital of Acupuncture from September 2017 to September 2018. Both groups were treated with electro-acupuncture, acupressure massage and magnetotherapy. Monitor the patient's clinical signs at times D0, D7, D14. Evaluate the treatment results and compare the treatment effectiveness of two types.

Results: After 14 days of treatment, patients achieved good results 63.3%, fairly good 21.7%, average 15.0%, poor 0%. There were no cases of experiencing undesirable effects.

Conclusion: Using a combination of electroacupuncture, acupressure massage and , magnetotherapy in the treatment of lumbar hip syndrome due to lumbar degenerative disease is safe and has good effectiveness.
