Evaluating the efficacy of the remedy Luc nhat tan in the treatment of acute cystitis

Abstract
Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of the remedy Luc nhat tan in the treatment of acute cystitis.
Subject and methods: A controlled clinical intervention study with matched pairs was conducted on 70 patients with acute cystitis, treated at Tue Tinh Hospital from May 2024 to November 2024, divided into two groups. Control group (35 patients): treated with antibiotics according to the Ministry of Health’s protocol (Amoxicillin 875 mg + Clavulanate 125 mg); Study group (35 patients): similar to the control group combined with the remedy Luc nhat tan. The treatment regimen: 5 consecutive days for women and 7 consecutive days for men.
Results: After treatment, the overall efficacy of the study group was 94.3% compared to 77.1% in the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant with p<0.05.
Conclusion: The remedy Luc nhat tan is effective in the treatment of acute cystitis.
