Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the clinical effects of Linh Loc Son capsules on elderly diabetic patients.

Subjects and methods: A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted from December 2022 to May 2023 at Tue Tinh Hospital.

Results: After 30 days of intervention, the treatment group's symptoms improved the most: Frequent urination (83.3%), fatigue (76.2%), fear of cold (73.9%), and coldness (77 .3%), back and knee pain (80%), pale tongue with white moss (73.9%), the difference after intervention and between the treatment group and the control group was statistically significant p<0.05. Symptoms of thirst, numbness in the limbs, decreased sensation in the soles of the feet, decreased patellar and Achilles tendon reflexes, low pulse, impotence, low pulse decreased, but the difference was not statistically significant statistics with p>0.05.

Conclusion: Linh Loc Son capsules are effective in improving some clinical symptoms in elderly diabetics. After 30 days of intervention, the proportion of patients in the treatment group with symptoms such as frequent urination, fatigue, fear of cold, chills, back and knee pain, pale tongue with white moss decreased significantly compared to before the intervention and compared to control group.
