Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate the analgesic effects of the GS-TVB massage solution combined with acupressure on patients with cervicalgia.


 Subjects and methods: A prospective, open clinical trial, comparing results before and after treatment between two groups was conducted on 60 patients diagnosed with acute cervicalgia, treated at Tue Tinh Hospital from March 2024 to June 2024.


Results: After 14 days of treatment, the mean VAS score of the study group decreased from 5.4 ± 1.34 to 2 ± 0.83. There was a difference between the study group and the control group in the change of mean VAS score before and after treatment with p < 0.05.


Conclusion: Acupressure combined with the GS-TVB massage solution has analgesic effects in patients with acute cervicalgia. The difference is statistically significant compared to the control group treated with acupressure alone.
