STUDY ON THE PREPARATION OF COT THONG HOAN HARD PILLS

Abstract
Objective: To develop the formula, preparation process and survey some quality indicators of Cot Thong hoan hard pills.
Subjects and methods: The research subjects are the medicinal herbs in the remedy including Thien Nien Kien, Cot Toai Bo, and Bach Chi provided by the Institute of Medicinal Materials meeting the standards of Vietnamese Pharmacopoeia V, extracted, concentrated and prepared into hard pills by dividing pills according to the instructions of the standards of Vietnamese Pharmacopoeia. Time and location: the research was conducted from April 2024 to the end of December 2024 at the Department of Pharmaceutical Preparation and Industry, Vietnam University of Traditional Medicine.
Results: Successfully developed a process for extracting liquid extract of Cot Toai Bo by the method of 40% ethanol infiltration, the method of preparing pills by dividing pills. Survey some quality indicators of the hard pills.
Conclusion: The process of preparing pills by dividing pills were successfully built and some quality indicators were surveyed.
