Abstract

Objective: Evaluation of the effect of reducing liver fat in experimental animals.


Method: Study on experimental model of steatosis in rat liver. Results: Dosage of 1.2g/kg/day and 2.4g/ kg/day orally for 4 weeks improved liver fat in a white rat model of liver fat. Reduces total cholesterol, triglycerides in the blood and in the liver; decreases serum ALT and AST enzymes.
