Thực trạng mô hình bệnh tật và hoạt động khám chữa bệnh tại Bệnh viện Tuệ Tĩnh giai đoạn 2023-2025

Abstract

Objective: To survey on disease patterns and the current situation of medical examination and treatment at Tue Tinh hospital during 2023 – 2025.

Subjects and methods: A retrospective, cross-sectional descriptive study based on medical records of patients treated at Tue Tinh Hospital from July 1^st 2023 to September 30^th 2025.

Results: The most prevalent disease group was diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, with 4.579 cases (38.62%), ranking first across all three years (36.07% – 40.70%). The next most common were endocrine, nutritional, and metabolic diseases (12.14%), followed by diseases of the nervous system (9.66%). The main treatment approach as the integration of modern and traditional medicine, applied in approximately 70% of cases. Most patients achieved favorable treatment outcomes, with the “improved” group accounting for 78.11% – 89.99% of cases.

Conclusion: The disease patterns observed at Tue Tinh Hospital were appropriate, diverse, and consistent with the morbidity trends typically seen in general hospitals that integrate modern and traditional medicine. The majority of cases involved chronic diseases, reflecting the hospital’s patient population. The main treatment approach was the combination of traditional medicine and modern medicine, which contributed significantly to effective disease management and improved patient outcomes.
